A collage showing nine ovals containing the twelve high priority areas subject to structure plans as part of the Whangarei Coastal Management Strategy. As well as the city and habour, the areas covered include Oakura and the Whangaruru Peninsular in the north, Helena Bay, an area encompassing Matapouri to Tutukaka, Ngunguru, another area encompassing Pataua to McLeod Bay, Marsden Point, Waipu Cove and Langs Beach.
