This map is taken from the Long Bay Structure Plan. The area the structure plan covers is from a line south of the Okura River, to the existing urban area of Long Bay College, Torbay Heights, and Torbay. The map shows areas to be retained as reserve (such as the Long Bay Regional Reserve on the coast and along the south bank of the Okura River) proposed new roading networks and various areas set aside for conservation and stormwater management purposes. A thick black line running through the centre of the map, following Okura River Road and Vaughans Road to the coast indicates a ridgeline protection corridor. The map also shows the location of proposed new reserves and archaeological sites.
