A Structure Plan of the Jacks Point development in Queenstown. The Structure Plan shows pockets of development in an areas near the edge of Lake Wakatipu being surrounded by areas of open space and golf courses. The amoeba-like shapes are organised with a village area at the centre, with pockets of residential development scattered loosely to the east and west. Land above the escarpment adjoining the lake is set aside for open space or lodge developments. A tree-like roading network joins the village with the residential areas and State Highway 6 (to the east). A landscape protection area adjacent to the State Highway minimises the visual impact of development from the highway.
